HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR VIRTUAL EVENT EXPERIENCE
Welcome to the 2021-DirectTrust Summit! Here you can watch sessions, ask our speakers questions to further explore the topics being discussed, download valuable resources and network with your colleagues. Plus, you will have on-demand access to the content after the event.
BEST PRACTICES FOR A SUCCESSFUL START
You have entered some of your information already, including your name and email address. You should also change your password if you have not already. Please be sure to upload an image of yourself. This image will also appear in any session listings for which you are a speaker. It is also helpful to have your image uploaded when you are searching to connect with a colleague. When you are done, please click on the button in the upper right portion of the page that says, "View My Profile" and make sure everything looks the way you want it to.
Provides the full list of sessions. This will also be the place where you can go back and view recorded content on demand. Your registration includes exclusive access to the recorded content. Create your personalized agenda by selecting Agenda on the home page and view the sessions. Select the sessions you would like to attend and click Add to Schedule. To view your schedule, click My Schedule. The full event site will be available on June 9th. To watch live at any time during the event, click Sessions on the menu to view the video player.
NETWORKING BREAKOUT ROOMS
During the event you can connect in small groups of 8. Click on the networking tab to join a networking room. Scan the room for a table you would like to join for an open seat. When you click “join table” you will see your icon seated at the table. At the table you can start a video or audio call or a text chat. You can also share your screen, upload files or use the white boarding tool.
In the Attendees section, you can see all of the registered attendees and click on their icon in order to visit their My Profile page and learn more about them. Chat live 1:1 with any attendee by selecting an attendee and selecting the Chat Now button. You can also send them an email by clicking on the Contact Me button.
This will tell you who has had the most participation in the virtual environment. Points are awarded based on your participation and engagement. The more you explore and engage with the virtual environment, the more points you receive! Prizes will be awarded for our winners.
If you are having problems logging in at any point during a session, please click the Technical Support button and a member of the helpdesk will support you. You may also send a message to email@example.com.
Click on the Agenda tab and then click on My Schedule. You can see your full personalized agenda for the day and access all your sessions.
Please make sure your speaker sound isn't muted. If you are wearing headphones, please make sure your volume is up and finally make sure the volume is on, on the stream.
We’d love you to ask questions throughout your sessions. You can do this by clicking on the Ask a Question button at the bottom of the webcast player. Questions go into a queue and during the Q & A session a moderator will facilitate the questions.
